My work at the Garden

I don't put a lot of my event coverage on my blog (usually because I don't know the people I'm taking pictures of).
At the Missouri Botanical Garden, we put our event photos up on flickr, so some of my photos can be seen at:

Ottoman Garden

Mom and Dad came to visit me at the Garden during the Best of Missouri Market. Here they are sitting on a throne in the Ottoman Garden. My dad is sitting all the way back (that's why his legs don't reach the ground, that, and he's short)

A View For a Select Few

Tower Groves House
See the tower? Let's go up there.

Climb up the stairs. This part of the house isn't open to the public. (Did you know that Henry Shaw had the Piper Observatory tower built so people would stop asking to come into his house to see the view from his tower?)

More stairs

Finally, a room. But wait, is that a ladder?

Oh Geez

Um.... ok stairs on top of the ladder

Unlock the door and push it aside

Not much room up here

Kind of cluttered. The speakers are there to play bell sounds because they got rid of the bell.

Doesn't look too safe....

But check out the view!

Ok, time to go.

Hi Katie!

Oh boy, here I go

This is one steep ladder. Is that somebody looking at me through the window?

Goodbye room. Your windows offer a great view even if the window sills are covered in dead bugs.

Back down the stairs.

That's it. That's all I've got.
